Time tracking for small studios. One price for the whole team.

Oretta tracks hours, budgets and margin for design studios of 3 to 15 people. You pay by active clients, so the bill stays put while freelancers come and go. No screenshots, and your studio's data is stored in the EU.

Your team changes with every project. Your price doesn't.

In a studio like ours, a few people are there all year. Freelancers join for a rebrand or a launch and leave when it ships, so the team is rarely the same size two months running.

Everyone logs time into the same studio, freelancers included. Oretta is priced by the clients you actively work for each month, never per seat, so the bill doesn't follow the headcount.

  • Free for one person.
  • Add a freelancer for one project at no extra cost.
  • Every feature is in every plan.
  • 30 days to try it with your own projects.

An illustration, not a price list. Priced per seat, the bill is the height of each column. For a very small, steady team that can be the cheaper option.

We count hours. We don't watch screens.

No screenshots, no idle detection, no activity scores. An entry is a project, a task, a start, a stop and a note. That's all Oretta keeps.

Each person sees their own entries. Team leads see their team. Only admins see rates and costs, and those rules live in the database itself, so no screen can show more than your role allows.

Budgets that warn you at 80%

Margin, month by month

Admins add a monthly salary or an hourly cost. Reports show the billable amount, the cost and the margin left between them.

A budget check in Slack at 9:00

Every weekday morning, one line per budgeted project, hours only. Oretta won't post to a channel shared with clients.

Log time by telling Claude

Connect Claude with your own token and say what you worked on. Your role's permissions still apply.

A timer in your browser bar

The Chrome extension starts and stops the timer in one click and keeps your recent projects close.

Coming from Clockify? We move you over together.

Clockify is a good tool, and plenty of studios use it well. If you're switching to a paid plan, we bring over your people, rates, clients, projects, tasks, tags and your full history, from paid and Free workspaces alike. Then we check hours and amounts with you, month by month, until they match.

If you need invoicing or a mobile app, Oretta isn't the right tool yet. It's built by a small design studio that runs on it every day.
